One year later I developed secondary lymphedema first in my right leg and now also in my left leg. I have to wear $900 custom Jobst pantyhose and sleep in Circaid compression garments 24/7 to keep my legs from swelling up. These garments need to be replaced every six months and my health insurance doesn’t cover these medical expenses. I had my first surgery for lymphedema July 2014 - $39,000.
